1st Annual Karat Proposal Video Contest

Video Contest Info:

To enter you have to film a wedding proposal, but don't worry as you can film an original idea, re-enact a proposal or even film a real proposal. Videos should be 3 minutes in length or under. Completed videos should be submitted to the Karat.com along with all the required documentation.

Prize:

There is a grand prize available of $1,000.

Rules:

Open only to individuals over the age of 18 who are legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old. Karat.com automatically owns non-exclusive rights to all videos submitted for the contest, but you still retain the original rights to your video and can do with it as you please. Panasonic: Shoot It, Share It Video Contest

Video Contest Info:

To enter you need to submit a video that showcases an innovative way in which you are using a Panasonic AG-AF100. Making sure you tell them how the camera has allowed you to "capture unique footage and improve the quality of your piece". Video should be no longer that 5 minutes in length.

Prize:

The grand prize winner gets a Panasonic 42” TH-42BT300U Pro Plasma reference Monitor & Vocas Micro Four Thirds to Prime Lens adapter. 1st prize gets a Vocas 0255-2000 Matte Box and rail System.

Rules:

Open only to residents of the United States. A portion of the video entered must have been recorded using a Panasonic AG-AF100 cinema camera. A maximum of 5 videos per entrant will be accepted. Entrant grants to sponsor the non-exclusive ability to use their submission.

This is Retail Video Contest

Video Contest Info:

The US National Retail Federation are looking for creative, insightful and thought-provoking retail stories in America. Videos should be no longer than two minutes and include the phrase "I'm [Name] and This is Retail". There are some themes that you should pick one and mention in the video which are: Retail Powers America’s Economy, Retail Is Main Street, Retail Drives Innovation, Retail Strengthens Consumers, Retail Creates Opportunity.

Prize:

The top three finalists will be flown to Washington, DC in May to the National Retail Fedration’s Washington Leadership Conference where the winner will be awarded with the following prizes: 1st place $25,000, 2nd place $15,000 and 3rd place $10,000.

Rules:

Open to US residents only who are currently employed at or the owner of a U.S. retail business and is 18 years of age or older.

To enter you have to perform and record a 30 seconds to 2 minutes in length video of one of the following songs: “Do-Re-Mi” (The Sound of Music), “Oklahoma” (Oklahoma!), “All Shook Up” (All Shook Up), “Give My Regards to Broadway” (Little Johnny Jones), “Steal Your Rock and Roll” (Memphis). YouTube - Your Film Festival

Video Contest Info:

To enter you need to create and submit a video which is no longer than 15 minutes in length. The object of the contest is to "celebrate the power of storytelling, with a focus on creativity and narrative". Your video can be in any format - short film, web-series episode, TV pilot - and any genre.

Prize:

In June, audiences around the world will vote, sending 10 deserving storytellers to open the 2012 Venice Film Festival where a Grand Prize Winner will be be rewarded with a $500,000 grant to create a new work, produced by Ridley Scott and his world class team.

Rules:

Must be aged over 18 or older than the age of majority in your location to enter. The Competition is not open to residents of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Myanmar/Burma, Syria, Zimbabwe and/or any other U.S. sanctioned country. Art Casso 2012 Pet Video Contest

Video Contest Info:

To enter you have to create and upload a video that shows your pet using either a Pup-Casso® or Kitty-Casso® paint kit product. Video should be a maximum of 1 minute in length. To see the full video contest details you have to 'Like' Art-Casso's Facebook page.

Prize:

One grand prize winner will receive a $500 check and a matching donation of a $500 check will be sent to the animal charity of the winner’s choice. First prize winner will receive $100 plus matching donation and 2nd prize winner receives $50 plus the matching donation.

Project Reason 2012 Video Contest

Video Contest Info:

To enter this video contest you need to create a video of no more than 1 minute 30 seconds that "communicates the importance of critical thinking." Completed entries should be uploaded to YouTube or other video sharing site and then submit the embed code to Project Reason using the entry form.

Prize:

The grand prize for the winning video of 2012 is $10,000. 2nd place gets $4,000 and 3rd place gets $1,000.

Rules:

Only open to residents of USA, Canada and UK. Video should be no more than 1 minute and 30 seconds in length. Do not incorporate the Project Reason logo or name into your video or otherwise associate your work with the work of the foundation.
