GCUC: I Share My Space Video Contest

Video Contest Info:

In this video contest by GCUC called "I Share My Space" you have to submit videos which are no longer than 30 seconds in length about coworking and which answers one of three questions which are: (a) What is coworking? (b) Why do you love coworking? or (c) What is your favorite coworking story? Completed videos should be uploaded to their Vimeo group.

Prize:

The winner will receive $1,000 USD from LiquidSpace and a $1,000 USD donation to the winners' charity of choice also provided by LiquidSpace. The winner’s coworking facility will receive a $500 USD Apple gift certificate provided by Turnstone and a Medusa PlaceMaker Starter Kit provided by Phoenix Broadband (valued at $3000).

Rules:

Only open to legal residents of the United States who are over 18 years old. Entrants must be able to prove that they are currently and active, paying member of a coworking space. By submitting a video, you are giving GCUC permission to use your video however they and their sponsors see fit. The fulls rules can be read here (PDF file).

Magnolius - Selaron Music Video Contest

Video Contest Info:

Create an original music video for Magnolius' track "Selaron". You can download the Selaron from Bandcamp or you can hear it below. Completed videos should be uploaded to this Vimeo group.

Prize:

The winning music video director gets $1,000 USD, $50 gift certificate for Magnolius.com, a limited edition version of MAG's sophomore release "Mary Musth" with lyrics booklet, potential for TV broadcast in Canada, United States and Brazil and an artist profile feature on The MAGNOLIUS Machine Factory.

Rules:

Your music video can be in any style of film you wish: footage, animation, stop motion, typography, mixed media etc...
