Rapid Fire Theatre (An Improv Theatre in Edmonton, Canada) are looking for a video sketch which is under 4 minutes in length. The video must include the suggested sentence somewhere in the dialog which is "better late than never". All entries will be shown during a competition week commencing 5th March and the winner will be determined by views, comments, likes and favorites.
Prize:$1,000 cash plus the winning video gets featured on the Rapid Fire Theatre website and YouTube channel for 12 months.
Rules:If you want to enter you should send a RSVP email to the email address on the video contest page. Entrants retain all rights to your content, and can feature your video on your own channels.

Create a short film between 1 minute and 5 minutes long. The theme of the film contest is "Priceless Moment" and all entries should be filmed especially for this contest. Completed films should be submitted to the email address on the film contest page as a YouTube link complete with a filled in entry form.
Prize:The winning filmmaker will receive a screening of their film and a Apple 15" Mac Book Pro complete with install pro software Final Cut Studio 2, Adobe CS5, Maxon Cinema 4D, iWork, Microsoft Office 2011, and Logic Pro 9.

DepicT! 90 Second Super-Short Filmmaking Contest

"Can you do it in 90 seconds?" That is what DepicT are challenging you to do by submitting super-short films which are no longer than 90 seconds in length (including titles and credits). The rules state that you can enter films utilizing all production techniques, including animation, documentary, drama, experimental or artist film and hybrid work. Completed short films should be uploaded to this page.
Prize:The winning filmmaker of the DepicT! 2012 Award wins £1500 cash and UK distribution of the winning film through the Digital Screen Network plus lifetime membership to and bundle of goodies from Shooting People. The winning filmmaker of the Shooting People DepicT! 2012 Audience Award wins a lifetime membership to Shooting People plus UK distribution of the winning film through the Digital Screen Network. There are also other prizes/awards for a British Special Mention and shortlisted entrants.
Rules:Only films completed since September 2011 may be submitted. They do not accept advertisements. The maximum number of entries per individual is ten. The DepicT! British Special Mention Award is open to UK productions only.

Morning Parade: Headlights Music Video Contest

The band Morning Parade are looking for a music for their new track "Headlights". Your remix should be 3 minutes and 27 secondss in length to match the original track. There are some pre-made videos and photographs that may be used in your submission. Completed videos should be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo and then submit the URL to Talenthouse. You can see an introduction video to the contest and also hear the track in the SoundCloud player below.
Morning Parade's favorite video will become the official music video for Morning Parade's track 'Headlights' and will be featured on many video platforms. The winner will also receive $1000. 3 runners up will get their videos featured on Morning Parade's social media channels and will receive an exclusive merchandise bag from EMI. The highest voted video will also get featured and win a Canon Digital Camera worth £175 and EMI merchandise bag.
Rules:The selected finalist shall grant ownership of all rights in and to the intellectual property in the winning submission to EMI Records. Open only to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their respective jurisdiction. Not open to residents of Florida, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Puerto Rico, the Province of Quebec, Sudan, or Syria.

Reporters Without Borders Student Video Contest

Reporters Without Borders is challenging US college students to create a video PSA of up to 50-seconds to help raise awareness about press freedom. Video entries should answer the question "Why should we care about press freedom?” The are looking for something that is creative, professional, and has enough impact to not only catch the viewers attention, but make them absorb the message, even after the video is off the air. Prize:The winners PSA will air on CNN on May 3, 2012 and the winner may get an internship with Reporters Without Borders if you are able. Also, Reporters Without Borders will honor you at a press conference that day, and pay for travel and accommodations to New York City for up to three of your team members.
Rules:Video contest is only open to students enrolled full or part time in an accredited university located in the United States who are 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the 50 United States.

Walmart are looking for a 30 second advert that celebrates its Every Day Low Prices and how customers can save money at Walmart, which makes life better. They are looking for videos which increase
customers brand affinity, loyalty and preference and appeal to their core customer. To download and read the full creative brief from MOFILM you'll need to log in to their site. Completed entries should be uploaded to MOFILM.
Grand prize winner gets $8,000 and a round trip travel for two people to Austin, Texas with three nights hotel accommodation where your work will premiere in front of fellow winners, brand representatives and the MOFILM team. 2nd place gets $4,000, 3rd place gets $2,000, 4th place gets $1,000 and 5th place gets $1,000.

Your video should help people better understand the issues facing them online and shows how Firefox helps them deal with these issues. Prize:The grand prize winner in each region (North America, Latin America, EU and Asia, Australia & New Zealand) will receive their choice of either $5,000 in video equipment or a film school scholarship plus flick could be used to share the amazing story of Firefox with the world.
