Panasonic: Shoot It, Share It Video Contest

Video Contest Info:

To enter you need to submit a video that showcases an innovative way in which you are using a Panasonic AG-AF100. Making sure you tell them how the camera has allowed you to "capture unique footage and improve the quality of your piece". Video should be no longer that 5 minutes in length.

Prize:

The grand prize winner gets a Panasonic 42” TH-42BT300U Pro Plasma reference Monitor & Vocas Micro Four Thirds to Prime Lens adapter. 1st prize gets a Vocas 0255-2000 Matte Box and rail System.

Rules:

Open only to residents of the United States. A portion of the video entered must have been recorded using a Panasonic AG-AF100 cinema camera. A maximum of 5 videos per entrant will be accepted. Entrant grants to sponsor the non-exclusive ability to use their submission.

Knice Short Film Contest

Video Contest Info:

Create a short film between 1 minute and 5 minutes long. The theme of the film contest is "Priceless Moment" and all entries should be filmed especially for this contest. Completed films should be submitted to the email address on the film contest page as a YouTube link complete with a filled in entry form.

Prize:

The winning filmmaker will receive a screening of their film and a Apple 15" Mac Book Pro complete with install pro software Final Cut Studio 2, Adobe CS5, Maxon Cinema 4D, iWork, Microsoft Office 2011, and Logic Pro 9.

Rules:

Entrants must be between 16 and 25 years old.

Firefox Flicks Video Contest

Video Contest Info:

Mozilla the makers behind Firefox need some help to tell their amazing story and want you to create a video about one of these 4 issues: Privacy, Choice, Interoperability, and Opportunity. Your video should help people better understand the issues facing them online and shows how Firefox helps them deal with these issues. The categories are Best :30 Spot, Best Animation, Best Use of New Technology, Best Public Service Announcement. To see the full creative brief click here.

Prize:

The grand prize winner in each region (North America, Latin America, EU and Asia, Australia & New Zealand) will receive their choice of either $5,000 in video equipment or a film school scholarship plus flick could be used to share the amazing story of Firefox with the world. The top two winners in each category get $1,000 in video equipment. Top category winners for each region and the grand prize winner will also get a trip to a Firefox Flicks event in 2012. Any video that makes it into the contest will get a Firefox prize pack.

Rules:

Open to anyone in world. You can submit as many videos as you like. It is It is mandatory that you use the Firefox logo which can be found in their brand toolkit.

Fujifilm Short Film Competition

Video Contest Info:

In this short film contest with an open theme you can submit short films under 30 minutes long which have been completed after 1 January 2010 but all submissions must be shot, in their entirety, on Fujifilm Motion Picture film stock (35mm and 16mm Fujifilm Motion Picture film). The short film contest has two categories which are 'Best Film' and 'Best Cinematography'. Submissions need to be sent be post on DVD to the address on the competition brief page.

Prize:

The winning film from both the 'Best Film' and 'Best Cinematography' will each win £2,000 worth of Fujifilm Motion Picture stock, a 'Rushes Package' courtesy of Technicolor, Technicolor Creative Services Soho will provide a print of the two winning films on Fujifilm's new show print stock, Eterna-CP 3514DI, a 35mm or 16mm Camera and Dolly hire package courtesy of Panavision, a Lighting hire package courtesy of Panalux, a Studio hire package courtesy of Island Studios, London and much more all of which can be seen here.
