One Voice Against Cancer (OVAC) is a coalition of cancer-related organizations representing millions of Americans working in support of federally funded programs that engage in the fight against cancer. They are looking for US residents to create an original and creative video in support of federal funding for cancer research in their Film It to Fight It Video Contest.
1st prize receives $500, 2nd prize receives $250 and 3rd prize receives $300. The winning videos will also be shown at an event with Members of Congress on Capitol Hill on July 9, 2012, and posted online in support OVAC's advocacy efforts.
Rules:Open only to legal resident of the United States and District of Columbia. Must be aged at least 18 years old or above the age of majority in your state. By submitting an entry for the opportunity to win this you irrevocably grant sponsor and its affiliates, legal representatives, assigns, agents and licensees, an assignment of all the rights, title and interest in the entry.

To enter this contest create a 30 second commercial for ECOS ® Liquid Laundry Detergent making sure that your video illustrates ECOS ® Liquid Laundry is good for the environment because it’s made from plants in manufacturing centers that use 100% green energy. To submit your video you have to do it through the Facebook app.
The grand prize winner receives $10,000, a year’s supply of ECOS ® and the possibility that their spot airs on US Television. 2nd prize receives $5,000 and a six-month supply of ECOS ® and 3rd prize receives $500 and a month’s supply of ECOS ®.

Alternative/Rock band School of Seven Bells have an upcoming single called "The Night" from their new album Ghostory. and are giving Genero.tv member the chance to make the official video for the track. They will only accept videos which are 16:9 or wider and under 300MB in size.You can download the track to use only in your video from the video contest page once registered/logged in to Genero.tv
The winner will get $2,500 and have their video as the official video for The Night.
Rules:Over 18 years of age only, if either aged 13 or over or considered a minor in your country you must have parental or guardian permission. In the event that an entrant's video is chosen as the winning video then that entrant assigns all rights title and interest in its video to Genero.tv in perpetuity.

Mozilla the makers behind Firefox need some help to tell their amazing story and want you to create a video about one of these 4 issues: Privacy, Choice, Interoperability, and Opportunity. Your video should help people better understand the issues facing them online and shows how Firefox helps them deal with these issues. The grand prize winner in each region (North America, Latin America, EU and Asia, Australia & New Zealand) will receive their choice of either $5,000 in video equipment or a film school scholarship plus flick could be used to share the amazing story of Firefox with the world. The top two winners in each category get $1,000 in video equipment. Top category winners for each region and the grand prize winner will also get a trip to a Firefox Flicks event in 2012. Any video that makes it into the contest will get a Firefox prize pack.

Cutty Sark Short Film Competition

Create a video that "depicts the personality of the Cutty Sark brand and captures The Spirit of Adventure. The judges are looking for films which fuse the sociable nature of Cutty Sark with the sense of adventure which lies at the heart of the brand. Any adventure, however great or small, can be portrayed – it doesn't need to be in the most extreme destination or climate." Your video should be no longer than 90 seconds in length and in the 16:9 aspect ratio. Completed entries should be uploaded to Vimeo and then submitted to Cutty Sark.
The successful filmmaker will win a £5,000 commission from Cutty Sark to develop a Global Brand Film for the brand.
Rules:Only open to individuals over the age of 18 who are resident in the United Kingdom. There is no limit on the number of films that each entrant may submit. All copyright and other intellectual property rights which subsist in the films submitted by each entrant for this competition will remain with the respective entrant. The Men's Health Initiative of British Columbia are looking for a funny and informative 30 second video which will help to educate young men about healthy living habits. The main message of the video should be "Find out your family medical history" and secondly "Know what kind of man you are made of. ".
