To enter you have to film a wedding proposal, but don't worry as you can film an original idea, re-enact a proposal or even film a real proposal. Videos should be 3 minutes in length or under. Completed videos should be submitted to the Karat.com along with all the required documentation.
Prize:There is a grand prize available of $1,000.
Rules:Open only to individuals over the age of 18 who are legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old. Karat.com automatically owns non-exclusive rights to all videos submitted for the contest, but you still retain the original rights to your video and can do with it as you please. Panasonic: Shoot It, Share It Video Contest

To enter you need to submit a video that showcases an innovative way in which you are using a Panasonic AG-AF100. Making sure you tell them how the camera has allowed you to "capture unique footage and improve the quality of your piece". Video should be no longer that 5 minutes in length.
Prize:The grand prize winner gets a Panasonic 42” TH-42BT300U Pro Plasma reference Monitor & Vocas Micro Four Thirds to Prime Lens adapter. 1st prize gets a Vocas 0255-2000 Matte Box and rail System.

GCUC: I Share My Space Video Contest

In this video contest by GCUC called "I Share My Space" you have to submit videos which are no longer than 30 seconds in length about coworking and which answers one of three questions which are: (a) What is coworking? (b) Why do you love coworking? or (c) What is your favorite coworking story? Completed videos should be uploaded to their Vimeo group.
Prize:The winner will receive $1,000 USD from LiquidSpace and a $1,000 USD donation to the winners' charity of choice also provided by LiquidSpace. The winner’s coworking facility will receive a $500 USD Apple gift certificate provided by Turnstone and a Medusa PlaceMaker Starter Kit provided by Phoenix Broadband (valued at $3000).
Rules:Only open to legal residents of the United States who are over 18 years old. Entrants must be able to prove that they are currently and active, paying member of a coworking space. 6th Annual doGooder Nonprofit Video Awards

To enter your non-profit organization into these video awards you have to create a video which shows how your non-profit uses sight sound and motion to make an impact. The categories are best small organization, best medium organization and best large organization with a special category for best storytelling. Paticipants must be a member of the YouTube non-profit program.
Prizes include: Winning video featured on the YouTube homepage on April 5th, each winner receives $3,500 in donations and a suite of great products provided by Cisco, free registrations to the Nonprofit Technology Conference from NTEN and Special Prize Grants from the Case Foundation.

One Shoot Films Short Film Competition 2012

Tim Kang (best known for his role as Kimball Cho on "The Mentalist") has recently launched One Shoot Films and they are having a competition to find a dramatic short film script which is between 5 and 15 minutes long and no more than 20 pages in length. 3 entries will be selected to pitch their script to the judges via video conferencing.
Prize:The winning short film script will be produced by One Shoot Films with a budget of up to $15,000 USD.
Rules:Entries from U.S. residents only who are aged over 21. Entry requires a $25 entry fee. Multiple entries are accepted.

This is Retail Video Contest

The US National Retail Federation are looking for creative, insightful and thought-provoking retail stories in America. Videos should be no longer than two minutes and include the phrase "I'm [Name] and This is Retail". There are some themes that you should pick one and mention in the video which are: Retail Powers America’s Economy, Retail Is Main Street, Retail Drives Innovation, Retail Strengthens Consumers, Retail Creates Opportunity.
Prize:The top three finalists will be flown to Washington, DC in May to the National Retail Fedration’s Washington Leadership Conference where the winner will be awarded with the following prizes: 1st place $25,000, 2nd place $15,000 and 3rd place $10,000.

Reporters Without Borders Student Video Contest

Reporters Without Borders is challenging US college students to create a video PSA of up to 50-seconds to help raise awareness about press freedom. Video entries should answer the question "Why should we care about press freedom?” The are looking for something that is creative, professional, and has enough impact to not only catch the viewers attention, but make them absorb the message, even after the video is off the air. Prize:The winners PSA will air on CNN on May 3, 2012 and the winner may get an internship with Reporters Without Borders if you are able. Also, Reporters Without Borders will honor you at a press conference that day, and pay for travel and accommodations to New York City for up to three of your team members.
Rules:Video contest is only open to students enrolled full or part time in an accredited university located in the United States who are 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the 50 United States.
