Video Contest Info:

To enter you need to create and submit a video which is no longer than 15 minutes in length. The object of the contest is to "celebrate the power of storytelling, with a focus on creativity and narrative". Your video can be in any format - short film, web-series episode, TV pilot - and any genre.

Prize:

In June, audiences around the world will vote, sending 10 deserving storytellers to open the 2012 Venice Film Festival where a Grand Prize Winner will be be rewarded with a $500,000 grant to create a new work, produced by Ridley Scott and his world class team.

Rules:

Must be aged over 18 or older than the age of majority in your location to enter. The Competition is not open to residents of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Myanmar/Burma, Syria, Zimbabwe and/or any other U.S. sanctioned country. There is no limit to the number of Entries an Entrant may submit. The fulls rules can be read here.
