Getty Images' Mishmash Music Video Remix Competition

Video Contest Info:

This contest is a bit different to the normal video contest because you have to remix already created video and stills and turn them into something new. Download your chosen content from Getty Images and then remix it into a 1 to 3 minute video. There are no rules about the kind of mishmash you can make but some examples are given such as short story, video art or music video. Completed videos should be submitted by registering and logging in on the official contest site.

Prize:

Your videos will also be showcased on the Mishmash site, through the Getty Images website and other media but the global grand prize winner will receive $5,000. 3 regional winners from The Americas, Europe, and Middle East will each win $2,000. 5 country winners from USA, UK, ANZ, India and South East Asia will each win $1,000. Plus there is a public vote winner who gets $1,000.

Rules:

At least half of the imagery (video or stills) must be from Getty Images. Maximum two entries per person. All rights in any content selected from the Getty Images’ Website remains vested in Getty Images and its licensors. Entrants are allowed to keep a copy of their submission in their portfolio.
